Soft tissue injuries

Overview
Soft tissue injuries refer to damage involving muscles, tendons, ligaments, or other non-bony tissues. These injuries commonly occur due to sudden trauma, overuse, or strain. They may affect any part of the body. Severity ranges from mild sprains to severe tears. Soft tissue injuries are common in sports and physical activities. Symptoms may include pain, swelling, and reduced movement. Most cases improve with proper care. Early assessment helps prevent long-term complications. Severe injuries may require specialized treatment.
What Happens During Allergic Rhinitis?
When excessive force is applied, fibers within muscles or ligaments stretch or tear. This causes inflammation and swelling. Blood vessels in the area may rupture, leading to bruising. In severe cases, complete rupture of a tendon or ligament may occur, significantly impairing function.
Diagnosis
Diagnosis is based on clinical examination and injury history. Imaging studies such as ultrasound or MRI may evaluate the extent of tissue damage. Severe cases may require orthopedic assessment.
